Krista had an opportunity to play overseas in 2004 for a travel team which went to Australia for the University Games or Uni Games. I played in the CBVA this past season, but, sadly, did not earn a rating. She plans to continue playing on the beac this up coming season.
Kirsta is 24 years old. I am the oldest of 6 siblings with 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She earned a B.A. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Physical Education in June of 2008 from La Sierra University. Krista is currently studying to be a physical education teacher working on her teaching credential at CSU Fullerton and student teaching at Citrus Hills Intermediate in Corona until June. Krista currently works at In N Out Burger in Corona while going to school and finishing up my credential. Kirsta is a huge snowboard fanatic! She heads up to Mammoth every chance she gets. I also like to bodyboard and enjoy the beach. I love having bonfires and I wish I could go there more, but time is very limited for me will all of my activities.
Krista on what makes Mavericks special? "What makes Maverick's so special is that the staff is willing to help young people learn about volleyball. I am 100% committed to helping young people learn the game that I love and feel that the staff and coaches are all on the same page with this commitment. I feel that I will continue to learn from other coaches and also my athletes while I am here."
