Christina will assist Phil Sutherland with the Mavericks 17-1s in 2010.  In 2009, Christina served as the head coach for the Mavericks 16-2s who remained in the SCVA Gold Division for the entire season and finished 25th at the Volleyball Festival in Phoenix.  Christina is the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Diamond Ranch H.S., leading the Panthers to their first playoff appearance in four years in just her 2nd year running the program.  In 2005, Christina served as 1st Assistant to Suzie Witmer at Riverside Community College.  From 2003-2005 Christina coached at California Polytechnic University, Pomona Volleyball Camps and coached at high school camps throughout the Inland Empire.  

Christina excelled as an athlete as well.  At Canyon Springs High School she lettered in basketball, track & field, and volleyball. She earned 1st Team All-League honors in volleyball as a junior & senior. Leading her team in kills and service aces. During both her freshman and sophomore seasons at Riverside Community College, Christina earned 1st team All-League honors as a volleyball player.  Christina went on to play volleyball on scholarship at Cal Poly Pomona, where she earned All-Conference honors in 2004. In 2005, the Broncos went 24-3 overall and shared the CCAA championship with Cal State L.A.
 
Currently, Christina works as an Athletic Development Officer at California Baptist University where she raises funds for athletic scholarship support and capital campaigns. Before working at CBU, she fundraised for athletic scholarships at UC Riverside for 2 years. In the Fall of 2010, Christina will graduate with an M.B.A. in Business Administration from CBU. Christina is engaged and will be married in the Fall.
