Jake Celestin brings a wealth of experience to the Mavericks 17-2s in 2010. His resume includes 2 years of previous work with the Mavericks 16s and 17s, 1 year as the head girls volleyball coach at Noroc H.S., 2 additional years as a varsity assistant at Norco H.S., and 1 year working with the 14s at Riptipes OC Volleyball Club in Orange County.
Jake also brings experience gained as volleyball player to the Mavericks Gym. Jake played 4 years of varsity volleyball at Norco H.S. where he was name league MVP, Inland Empire Player of the Year 2007, and All-CIF First Team in 2007. Jake has 3 years of club experience at both Mavericks and Riptides OC. He has 7 years of experience on the beach, and was a member of the Irvine Valley College 2008 State Championship team in 2008.
Jake is a dedicated coach who says he's "100% Volleyball coach, all day, every day." Jake still spends his free time playing beach volleyball.
